Sat 21st	Christchurch	ACC - WHAT’S THE DEAL?! Across the board, the government is making cuts to ACC that will affect you. Public opposition is widespread, with various action groups forming regularly. This is a call out to all those affected by this issue, to come together, discuss, plan, and brainstorm ideas to stop these cuts once and for all. A brief summary of changes so far... - End of free physiotherapy treatments - Sexual abuse survivors will have to be diagnosed with a mental illness to qualify for free councilling - Motorcycle registration up to $750 for bikes bigger than 600cc - Moped and scooter registration up $30 - Car registration up $30 - “Average worker” taxes up $345 per year - No councilling or support for families affected by suicide - Possible privatisation - What next? PUBLIC MEETING TO BE HELD AT CANTERBURY WEA 59 GLOUCESTER ST (opposite COCA Gallery) SAT 21st NOVEMBER 2009 12:30 – 3:00pm. There will be plenty of space available, so feel free to invite anyone you know who is affected by this. Tea and coffee provided. Free childcare available.

Sun 22nd	Mission Bay	Time: 8:00am onwards Fancy a coffee and a bite to eat, while keeping this ACC issue in the public face? Join us for coffee and breakfast at Mission Bay. Get in early and find yourself a carpark. Yes folks a carpark. Make sure you have change for the parking fees if any. One bike per park please. Then take a leisurely stroll to the nearest cafe and get a coffee and something to eat. Take your time, relax, enjoy your brunch. If we do it right, there wont be any parking for cars available, highlighting the fact that if these bastards tax us off the roads, we will be forced to "drive" a car, and there will be no parking available anywhere. We also will be supporting the local businesses so they are not disadvantaged because of this protest action. Main gathering of bikes will be in the carpark opposite the fishpot cafe. Depending on numbers of course, but I would love to see the entire waterfront lined with bikes. Bring your noise makers, this one is going to be LOUD! Hand out leaflets to the general public letting them know we are fighting this fight for all of us, dont forget WHOS NEXT? Sat 5th	Christchurch	Protest ride Meeting at Izone Drive in Rolleston from 10:30am where we will be joined by riders from Timaru and Ashburton. Leaving at 12:00pm traveling into Cathedral Square and met by a few MPs. We will head down Main South rd, left into Main South rd from the Sockburn Roundabout, Riccarton Rd, Hagley Ave, Oxford Tce, Lichfield St then left into Colombo St and finishing in the Square.
